I'm Paolo Montalto an Android Engineer, Mobile developer and Software craftsman. When I was a child my parents bought me a Commodore 64 and since then I've been writing code, I started with BASIC to learn several languages through the years Pascal, C++, Java and Kotlin among the others. I graduated in Computer Science (Facoltà di Scienze MM.FF.NN. Università Federico II di Napoli) in 2006, and I do consulting, design and development of mobile apps (Android/iOS) and backed services.
I Founded the Gendroid ( ) community for Android developers in Genoa, I used to take part to JUG Genova and GDGGenova meetings, occasionaly talking at Events and I always keep an eye open on the bleeding edge of Mobile, IoT, JVM and Free Software.

I also share recipes, and cooking experiments on my Instagram page @TheLockdownDough, come visit!

Xabaras.it (previously Xabaras.tk, previously Smashing Page) was born in 2001, from an idea by Paolo Montalto, as personal website with the goal to share technical knowledge, and has evolved since then to adapt to the Web's quick mutations, trying (and hoping to do so) to keep up with the times and glancing further.

This website does not represent a newspaper because it is updated without any fixed frequency. It cannot therefore be considered an editorial product pursuant to law n. 62 of 07/03/2001.
